Great progress has been made in the building of the Trade Training Centre.
After a week of hard work and lots of fun the Community put on a very special Ahsante ceremony for everyone involved.
Joanna Robertson recently hosted a fund raising evening at her art gallery, Kidogo Arthouse. The evening was attended by many associated with the Matipwili project and was a great success.
The students of two Perth schools, Scotch College and Presbyterian Ladies College are working together to fund and help build the Trade Training Centre in Matipwili.
The centre is taking shape. The large cement blocks have been specially made by hand, the timber cut and the building is growing.
All the groups involved in the planning and building of the Trade Centre have been working hard, first to raise money for the project and then to actually build.
Students from Presbyterian Ladies College and Scotch College held a stall at the Cottesloe Street Fair in Perth Western Australia to raise funds for the Trade Training Centre.
